Stuff for San Diego Comic-Con 2008

I'll be at San Diego Comic-Con July 24-27 at Artists Alley with some new mini-comics and a print to sell. I'll also be selling sketches. The mini comics I have for sale are all my 24-Hour Comics for the past four years. I still have a few copies of my first 24 hour comic YETI-HUNTER, left from Alternative Press Expo a few years back and will be offering those for sale. I will also be offering up my last three 24-Hour comics, each with brand spanking new, full-color wrap-around covers. THE LAST SHOT, is a zombie/gangster tale. SASQUATCH is a story about a little girl's encounter with Bigfoot. JUST VISTING is an alien abduction story. I'll also have a new FANNY McROLLO print for sale. I'll be sitting with my brother, Anson at Artist's Alley. He will be at table EE01, and I will be at table EE02. Please, drop by and say hello!

This year's comicon has a LOT of awesome panels (Paul Gulacy has is first ever (that I know of), Mike Grell & Geoff Johns will be at the Legion panel, and if you're a Bstar fan, I think the cast will make a final appearance)....

Bummer for me, I can't make it this year- but I hope you guys have a great time! :)

flaterectomy-Thanks for your Supergirl! It's great to see the variety of takes that can be generated by different artists. Your more "moody" version wass great to see.

dominic-Thanks! The Last Shot cover was one of my favorites to draw as well!

joseph-Thanks for dropping by! Went to your site, cool stuff!

crazy-Does seem like a lot of cool panels this time. I'll probably be behind my table more this time. It's just as well. If I get up, I might be tempted to spend more $$ on the way to those panels!

chuck-Good to hear from you! Would've loved to see you. Other Academy instructors from the illustration department came by my table ( Barron Storey, Robert Hunt, Francis Livingston all dropped by ) It was good to see some familiar faces from long ago.
Folks, check out Chuck's sight to see some great painting! He was one of my instructors at The Academy of Art College ( now University ). He also came in and helped us a bit with some emergency storyboards on The Phantom Menace. He does incredible work!

roberto-The Last Shot cover is also a favorite of mine. There are even more hands than seen as it is a wrap-around cover.

james-Thanks for coming by the table, James--it was a pleasure meeting you! Definitely give the 24 -Hour comics thing a shot yourself. A great exercise for any comics artist! I think Golden Apple will be doing one this time.
